It's hard to believe that we are already in April. I’ll be writing a monthly edit where I share with you some of my most used items from my beauty shelf, closet, kitchen, office, etc for that month! What do you think?
Let's start off with beauty, as it’s the one I talk about the most. As most of you know, I love all things skin, and I try out many different products. Some of them I empty out, and others I don’t. But here are a few products I emptied out:
SKIN:
La Prairie White Caviar Infusion: The price tag is steep, but this was a beautiful product, and it really restored my hydration. My only complaint is that I went through this bottle so fast, and because the price is so high, it’s hard for me to justify the cost, but it was absolutely one of the most beautiful serums I’ve used.
Medicube Zero Pore Pad: I use this every morning and evening, and I finally emptied out my massive jar. I have already ordered another jar. It helps keep my pores clean and minimizes them without stripping my skin.
Skin & Lab Retinol Roller: This is a vegan gentle daily retinol that has a built in steel roller that is great for lymphatic-like massage and just the even application. This is probably by 5th bottle at this point. I lost count but I travel with this guy everywhere.
Chanel Red Camellia Cream: This is one of those creams that I’ve used but haven’t talked about. It’s such a lightweight gel-like but still incredibly hydrating cream. I was first sent this product 2 years ago and have been continuing to purchase my own every time as it’s such a beautiful cream for my skin. I have tricky skin as I need something deeply hydrating for my aging skin but also something that won’t clog my pores as I’m an oily skin girly as well
Augustinus Bader Rich Eye Cream I’ve been using this day and night every day for the past 2 months, and it lasted me a while. It has the same TCF8 technology as the rich cream has, which has the benefits of skin rejuvenation over time, and I truly think it’s working as my under-eye crepiness is so much better than a few months ago.
Dr Babor Hyaluronic Acid cleansing balm: This is a thick cleansing balm, and I love using it to pre-cleanse my face, especially on days I’m wearing a lot of makeup and sunscreen. It really melts but also lathers your skin, making it feel extremely protected and hydrated.
Cle de Peau Beaute Hydro Softening Lotion as my toner. I completely emptied out this bottle, and it truly softens your skin before starting your skincare routine
DEVICES:
Medicube Booster Pro device: I use this device every single day. Mainly for the air shot mode to control my breakouts on dry skin, but then I’ll go in with the booster mode for that added glow-up.
Qure LED mask: This is a customizable LED mask, the first on the market. It’s light is so powerful that it isn’t recommended for use for more than 3 minutes. It has both the acne and wrinkle functions, which I need both for, but since it customizes it, I can spot-treat depending on my needs.
MAKEUP:
MAKEUP BY MARIO master mattes eyeshadow palette. I was on the road for almost the entire month of March and this is the only palette I traveled with. It has every taupe brown shade I need from day to night.
HAUS Lab’s concealer: Truly one of the best concealers on the market. It's creamy and has great coverage but never dries or cakes. It’s so stunning ( I start off with fair rosey to cancel any darkness out and then go in with my true shade; light medium peach)
Cle de Peau beauty foundation: still my top foundation as it’s a whipped light foundation that has great coverage but feels like a moisturizer and softens and blurs the skin so beautifully I use color #030 medium ocher.
HAIR:
La Bonne Brosse : Obsessed with this brush and I got one for my girls too. It is truly the best brush on the market helps with regrowth of hair and gets out tangles so easily.
HERS: hair growth serum I’ve used this every day and have emptied out my second bottle, and this stuff absolutely works.
Nutrafol pills for hair growth: I’ve been taking these guys consistently for the past 2 months and have seen a significant growth on my forehead line. I don’t know what is more effective the HERS treatment or the Nutrafol or it’s probably both?
Sisley hair mask- I’ve emptied out this guy as it’s such a beautiful mask and it has revived my hair.
FRAGRANCE
Phlur’s Rose Whip: It’s the perfect scent that is not powdery or rosy at all. It has a freshness to it - almost like going into a new season. It’s slightly spicy, dark, and sensual . I’ve been loving wearing this during the evening as it’s a very sultry sexy scent
Father Figure- still my everyday day time scent. It’s the perfect balance of masculinity and femininity. It oozes empowerment and there’s nothing that makes me feel more confident than wearing father figure .
FASHION

This slouchy suede tote from Hunting Season is the perfect transition bag into warmer weather. It’s also the perfect mom life bag/work bag. She’s understated in the most luxurious way.
Louboutin Miss Z’s: as I’m constantly on the road, there are a few pieces I pack no matter what, and for me, that’s a pair of black pump heels as they match everything, and it’s good for a night out but also for important events and meetings. I tried so many black pumps, and I couldn’t find one that was comfortable for me to wear for more than 3 hours on my feet until I got the Miss Z’s from Louboutin: there is an added cushion, which makes the shoe sooooooo much more comfortable and wearable.
Redone jeans: these baggy low-waist jeans have been my go-to. Have paired them with so many looks
Sporty and rich suede red Adidas sneakers: I’m constantly in my black sambas, but now I’ve replaced them with the sporty and rich collab, which adds a bit of color and character to a more classic outfit.
I’m obsessed with my oversized trench coats and have them in 3 colors; black, grey, and tan. I love a good oversized moment, as I can add so many layers below. It just makes any outfit look chic and pulled together, especially at the airport
My barn hat: this is the RL cap, and it is on the pricier side for a cap, but the construction of this hat is so solid and gives it the perfect roundness you want for your head. I had this cap in a brown suede that I lost on a trip, and ended up getting a black one, and I haven’t parted with her since. It’s my go-to no makeup day hat and my travel hat and wearing it to the barn hat.
Margiela maxi skirt: I got this skirt for my trip to Abu Dhabi, but the number of times I have worn it back at home has been incredible. First, it looks like a pair of low-rise trousers, and I love that the white section can either be tied up as a second layer or folded over so it looks super low-rise.
My Enza Costa Top: They create the most beautiful classics in the most elevated way. The ruching on the node to thumb holes to every little detail you can imagine
This Sei leather jacket: I’ve had her for a while but never really broke her in fully until this month. I love the simple sleek, clean lines, and it’s just the perfect spring leather jacket you can layer under your larger coat if needed.
FITNESS & WELLNESS
ADANOLA workout set: I love how snatched this makes me feel when working out, and I love the covered-up look, too.
TRU NIAGEN NAD: Supplements that a friend told me about. I keep hearing about this new supplement everyone is talking about, and I get a bit sus when everyone on TikTok is talking about it, but my friend told me about a specific NAD brand that she takes and that is the best on the market. It helps with slow aging
Multivitamins for women 40+: I can’t believe I’m here, but my goal is all about longevity and feeling great in the long run. At my age, a lot of things slow down, so it’s important that I have a supplement that covers that.
Moon Juice Magnesium: To end the day with I love mixing this one in one cup of water before I go to sleep. It relaxes me and also gets me the magnesium I need in my body
FOOD
Fly by Jing Sichuan Crisp: I use this sauce daily with everything. I make my salads with it and I even cook with the oil as it always adds a nice spicy kick to everything. I do not know life without this sauce. In fact, I think I will have 2-3 jars a month of this!
Coccojune: Every morning, I make my dairy-free yogurt bowl, and it’s something I eat every day and gets my day going. I’ll sprinkle in granola, chia seeds, berries, and some honey
Jeni’s dairy-free ice cream: I had not yet found a vegan-free ice cream that I absolutely loved until I found Jenni’s dairy-free. There are two flavors I get every time- lemon bar and Texas Sheet Cake. I could finish a whole pint to myself within 2-3 days. So good!
That’s a wrap on this month’s edit! Can’t wait to share more of what I’m using lots of next month! Let me know if you’ve tried any of these or if there’s something you think I need to add to my shelf/closet!
