Curated Classics: Building My Timeless Wardrobe
In the past four years, I’ve been purging my life—letting go of everything from toxic people and relationships to mental baggage and even my closet.
Whenever people see my wardrobe, they’re always surprised by how compact it is. But I’ve reached an age where I know what I like, and I’m willing to invest in quality classics—pieces that will carry me through every phase of life. These are the staples I can re-wear a million times, mixed in with the occasional trend.
Today’s post is dedicated to my holy grail classics—the pieces I cannot live without. These are the essentials I wear multiple times a week, pack for every trip, and own in various colors. They’re the ones I reach for when I don’t know what to wear because, like a good, stable relationship, they’ve always had my back.
So, here are my wardrobe staples…
The Best White Tee: Enza Costa
Bodysuits: This is a really good bodysuit tank—my go-to with jeans.
This is the same bodysuit but in a t-shirt form:
Calvin Klein Button Down: I have this in two colors, grey and white. It’s a larger, tunic-style piece that looks cute as an oversized shirt. I like to throw mine on over my workout clothes or layer it under sweaters—and it’s 40% off:
This poplin shirt dress is perfect for spring. I love belting it or wearing it over jeans with a baby tee.
My Frankie Shop poplin button-up is crisp and versatile. I love wearing it buttoned up all the way or open with a white T underneath.
Classic Dress: This is such a good classic dress. I have it in both white and black, perfect for pairing with a blazer or casually wearing with flats.
Jeans: These are the ultimate cool girl 90s jeans that I just got and love so much:
Cool Girl Mom Jeans: These are my cool girl mom jeans—low rise and baggy. I love wearing them with a classic tee for a relaxed, off-duty look. Simple but cool:
Everyday Bootcut Jeans: My Calvin Kleins are my everyday bootcut jeans—not too baggy, not too skinny, just the perfect in-between. They don’t graze the floor because they’re the perfect length for me. These are my most worn classic jeans, and they’re under $100:
The Long Sleeve: Enza Costa Off-the-Shoulder
I have this off-the-shoulder top in two colors—it’s literally the most luxurious classic basic to have.
Slouch Top from Enza Costa: I also have this slouch top in two colors:
Cashmere Twist Top: This Cashmere Twist Top, featuring thumb holes, is another classic I wear often. I even love wearing it on the plane:
White Tank from Enza Costa
The Trousers: My favorite, most worn black trousers are perfect for work or a casual day with sneakers and a cap. I also have these trousers in grey, tan, and cream:
The Blazer: I have this Frankie Shop blazer in black, cream, tan, and grey. It’s the perfect oversized blazer with no defined shape—great for layering a hoodie or cardigan underneath. It’s a loose, boyfriend fit:
The Flats: Maison Margiela Tabis are my favorites. I have two pairs—one in dark brown and one in black. If you know, you know; they give instant cool girl vibes to a classic pair of flats
I also have these classic Gucci loafers that are forever a staple. They add a menswear vibe to any look:
I just ordered these flats, and I can see myself wearing them all spring with my jeans!
The Sweater: My go-to Frankie Shop sweater comes in grey, cream, and dark brown. I love it because it’s a classic sweater with shoulder pads, giving it a power shape beyond your average knit:
The Trench Coat: This Acne Studios trench coat got me through two of the coldest winters. It’s my most worn coat, and it was worth every dollar!

My oversized Frankie Shop coat is the perfect trench coat to throw on for school drop-offs, over workout clothes, for horse riding—really, for everything. I have this coat in grey and brown as well:
The Heels:
These Gucci slingbacks have been my most worn pair for the last three years. I bring them on every business trip because their nude color goes with everything, and the kitten heel is extremely comfortable for all-day wear:

Christian Louboutin’s Miss Z is a classic—a new model that just came out. It’s the iconic Louboutin pointy pump, but with Miss Z, it’s designed for comfort! It features a delicate padded insole and a soft construction inside that is truly life-changing. Everyone needs a classic pair of black pumps, and these are it!
I just ordered these tan heels for spring! They are incredibly sexy and would look amazing with jeans.
These sandals for spring are also perfect—a classic strappy pair of mid-rise heels. They’d look so cute with a spring dress or even with jeans:
The Classic Conclusion
These are the classic wardrobe pieces that I wear on constant repeat! I always say you have to perfect your classics and basics before playing with trends and accessories. It’s like building a house—you need a solid foundation before decorating it with all the embellishments.
A well-curated classic wardrobe should never go out of style and will have you covered for years to come!
